The Regional Symphony Orchestra will perform with Ara Malikian at the meeting 'Sent-me', held in July in Alicante

The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, under the authority of the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, will offer a special concert at ‘Sent-me’, the meeting on new tendencies in music and training, which will take place from 13th to 18th July in the town of Cocentaina in Alicante and to which the instrumental ensemble from Murcia has been invited to perform together with the renowned violinist Ara Malikian.

Under the baton of Ignacio García Vidal, artistic director of ‘Sent-me’, the Symphony Orchestra and Malikian will play a highly important repertoire for violin and orchestra concerts. Works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Bruch, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovski and Sarasate could be heard on Tuesday 14th July at the Parade Ground (Patio de Armas) in Palau Comtal.

In addition to the performance by Malikian, several professors of the Murcian ensemble, such as its concertmaster, Darling Dyle, the violinist Jaume Llinares and the double bass player Bruno Reyes, will take part as speakers at ‘Sent-me’, where qualified music professionals will get in touch with students of the disciplines of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello, double bass and orchestra conducting from all over the world.
