The electronic music festival Animal Sound increases stages and styles for its third edition, to be held on June 25th

Dutch DJ and producer Dyro and Dj Ruff, from Los Angeles, are some of the headliners of the festival, organized with the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and the Murcia City Council

 

The electronic music festival Animal Sound will held on June 25 its third edition on the premises of La Fica in Murcia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson and the City Council of Murcia.This year, about fifty artists appear in the line-up, among which there are international benchmarks of electronic music as Dutch producer and DJ Dyro and Club Avalon DJ Ruff from Los Angeles.

The festival, attended by nearly 12,000 people last year, will offer 11 hours of live music and allow entry to all aged over 16 years. In addition, its programming and musical variety have been expanded with five areas, covering different styles like EDM, Drum and Bass & Trap, Techno and Remember.

The event was presented today by the Minister of Culture and Government Spokeswoman, Noelia Arroyo, along with the councilman of Employment, Culture and Tourism of Murcia, Jesús Pacheco, and two of the organizers, Álvaro Vargas and Jose Antonio Fernandez, who showed the bill for this edition, which intends to continue increasing the number of attendees.

Arroyo congratulated the organizers of "this festival for having has made nearly 12,000 young people enjoy electronic music. Thanks to its great programming, it has been attracting more and more people from outside the region and also expanding the range of styles to reach an older audience, while also thinking about those who are often left out of these big events such as young people aged 16 to 18 years. "

Line-up

The main stage of Animal Sound will host performances from artists like the Dutch DJ and producer Dyro, listed in the top 30 of the prestigious list of DJ Mag Top 100; Tom Swoon, also listed in the top 50 DJs DJ Mag, and Dj Ruff, from Los Angeles.

Animal Sound was the first Spanish festival in having international artists, and the duo DubVision will return back to Murcia this edition, along with other artists like ATICA, the house duo with hip-hop touch formed by Pablo de Rosacruz and Ruslan Slatin, Space Elephants, young Lara Taylor, Ikki & Costa or  Don Fluór.

More than 30 artists will perform on other stages, among which there are the duo Los Suruba; Croatian producer Petar Dundov; the producer of the best new band PXXR GVNG, Steve Lean; 2GEN, father and son in the mixer; Radness, and Blacknoise, among others.

The Minister of Culture said that "the Animal Sound continues to grow with the support of the Community and the City Council, but, above all, thanks to the work of young entrepreneurs who decided to launch this great project and increase the number of partner companies every year "

In this way it is notable that "public-private partnership is a great choice to move forward with new projects and that there are some companies, helped by tax incentives launched by the Murcian Government, are willing to contribute to make our region a great cultural and tourist attraction", said Arroyo.
