The Minister of Culture  spokeswoman, Noelia Arroyo, has presented today the exhibition along with the director of the Coca-Cola Foundation, Juan José Litrán, and the curators. In 'La Conservera', visitors will find a selection of works that respond to various techniques and disciplines, from painting to video, photography, sculpture, installation and drawing. The exhibition brings together artists of different ages and styles, offering a multitude of approaches and sensibilities, reflecting their personal worlds and questioning the sociocultural reality around them.

The title 'Una mirada en abierto' refers to new possibilities and different contexts that open with the creative look of artists and that mix in a narrative way as you go through the naves of 'La Conservera'. The works of the fifty selected artists assume and reinterpret influences, traditions, standards, and visions of the art of the last thirty years, and propose a variety of readings that are a true reflection of contemporary creation.

To perform this broad look at the last decades of contemporary creation, the Coca Cola Foundation had Murcian creators to collaborate in the assembly of the exhibition, thus involving cultural agents of the Region of Murcia and the local community. This encourages to create new links between professionals, that may continue to expand in the future. With this exhibition, the Coca Cola Foundation continues to expand contemporary art by lending works and organizing exhibitions in Spain and abroad, and thus boosting the art market on the peninsula.
